Installed the electric fuel pump. Optimized the throttle control. Adjusted the seat belt attach points for correct operation.

4/11/2012 – 3 hours

Worked on rotorhead. Larry is sending 4 washers and it will be complete.

4/10/2012 – 2 hours

Got parts from Larry today. Worked on finishing up rotorhead. Need to ask Larry a couple of questions tomorrow.

4/9/2012 – 2 hours

4/7/2012 – 7 hours

Got the throttle cable cut and ran. Adjusted the lengths to bench standards. Mounted the capacitor. Installed the battery cable from the selonoid to the starter. Installed the ground cable from the battery to the engine. Installed battery cable from selonoid to battery (but left diconnected for now). Installed keyswitch.

4/6/2012 – 7 hours

Drilled and deburred the auxillary fuel arms. Installed them in conjunction with the MLS box and support tubes. Also got the Voltage Regulator/Rectifier mounted. Never really liked the setup on the battery that Larry had so I started experimenting. In the end I am pleased with the outcome. The battery is really secure now and I also found a way to mount the starter selenoid inside the MLS housing since I am not using it for the gearbox.

4/5/2012 – 2 hours

Started assembling the MLS gearbox housing.

4/4/2012 – 2.5 hours

Measured the layout for the instruments on the pod panel. Drilled 3″ holes and then reamed with a Dremel tool until they fit. Layed out and marked positions for the “Mag” switches. Drilled those and installed the switches.

4/2/2012 – 2 hours

Worked on rotor head some more. Need an extra bolt for the rotor towers. Also I have the wrong cheek plates for the UL prerotator. Larry is sending parts out this week. Also drilled the MLS gearbox plate holes out to 1/4″ and deburred them. The MLS gearbox and auxillary fuel tank supports have to be installed even though the MLS will be inoperative.
